Over the last few weeks, we have all woken up to the saddening news coming from Manchester andd London with the recent Terrorist attacks.  I am sure that many of your children will have some questions to ask about it.  Below are some links to websites that you may find beneficial to support you or your child in reflecting about the events

I will add more as I find them

In school, we took the opportunity to talk about how we can stay safe on a day to day basis - from crossing roads, cycling with helmet, stanger danger and makking sure that you always know where they are!  Please take some time over the coming days and weeks to talk about how they need to stay safe during the summer evenings and weekends.

09/06/17 - The homework this week blends two of our current writing themes: descrptive writing and Dragons / mythical beasts.  The task is to write a descriptive piece about peering into the volcano where the Dragon in our story lived.  however, as they peer over the edge of the volcano, it is not a Dragon that they find.  The children need to draw on their descriptive wiritng skills and open up the 5+1 senses - touch, smell, see, hear and taste(??) and also how the felt at the time.

Please make sure that the homework in submitted by Thursday 15th June.  Thye chidlren should arrange to see me f there are any problems - I will help where I can!
